“Yet it was our weaknesses HE carried; it was our sorrows that weighed HIM down. And we thought HIS troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for HIS own sins! But HE was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. HE was beaten so we could be whole. HE was whipped so we could be healed.” Isaiah 53: 4&5

Christina’s Bio:

Christina has spent the past 30 years serving as a professional educator, with three degrees in education and a passion for serving special-needs children and their parents.  In addition, she has worked side-by-side with her husband, Dr. Craig Green, as a pastoral counselor—which is the area of specialization in her latest degree—a Masters in pastoral counseling. Christina has served as the Special Education Supervisor for the Overton County School System for the past five years.  She will always be an advocate for those who can defend themselves the least. God has ordained a new season of service for Tina—one free from constraints to openly share the One and only One who truly defends the weak and who truly heals the wounded—Jesus Christ the Lord. With deep trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to bring real and lasting healing, Christina will gently and lovingly engage her clients as they receive the healing available in areas such as:

The Mission:

My child, pay attention to what I say, listen carefully to my words.  Don’t lose sight of them.  Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body (Proverbs 4:20-22)

God’s Word, as it penetrates us through the power of His Spirit, brings life and healing to our body, soul and spirit.   True pastoral counseling is not a method or a system; rather, it is a trust in and reliance upon the Lord, as He breaks the power of lies, heals wounds, and releases true freedom.

Christina’s mission is to be an instrument of God’s healing as she listens, prays, and shares the Word in the power of the Spirit.   Therefore, healing comes from and by Jesus, not through counseling or the counselor —so it is neither fleeting nor conditional.   Truly, Jesus saves!

O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!”  Jeremiah 17: 14

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.” Psalm 51:12
